My First Challenge!

Family...
Meljens Challenge #98 - Buttons

I've never tried a challenge but I've seen how much fun it is for my dear friends Jen and Linda and I just had to join in the fun.  I've stressed over this new adventure all week and I'm glad to finally finish this card.  I couldn't wait to use Meljen's Fuzzer the Monster image.  He's one of my favorites.  Fuzzer seemed so lonely all by himself.  I know how important our families are so I decided to make Fuzzer the Monster into The Fuzzer Monster Family.
Have a fabulous week!

Keep to the Code!

Happy Friday!  I'm so glad it's finally here :)  I hope everyone had a great week.  I apologize for the lousy resolution of this post.  My awesome cell phone is only awesome for communicating.
It's downright lousy for photography.  *sigh*
I found this image from The Octopode Factory.  Lily Chilvers' digis are becoming a favorite of mine and she's done it again with her original rendition of a most memorable movie character, Jack Sparrow.  Make sure to stop by her site and see her unique images.
Tomorrow is going to be fabulous.  I'm having Coffee, Copics and Craft time with Jeni from Flip Flop Creations and Linda from Turtle in the Sand.  I can't wait to see what ideas and creations we come up with.  We'll keep you posted!

The Sun in My Sky

Valentine's day is almost here!  Is everyone ready?  I saw this Sassy Cheryl image and just had to have it.  It is the perfect digi for my Valentine.  I created the sentiment with the lyrics to one of my favorite songs in mind.  I am so very lucky to be married to the best guy ever.  I love you Lou <3
I hope everyone has a great week and a happy Valentine's Day!

Life is a Journey

This adorable image is from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop I've wanted to do something with this cute guy for quite some time.  Inspiration hit after getting my children's school photos back.  Mo's digi is actually one image but I did a few magic tricks and turned her single into a big brother/little brother version to fit our family.  Now I have the perfect card to send out school photos!

A Cut Above

I LOVE the movie Edward Scissorhands and I fell in love with this image from The Octopode Factory.   Stop over and check out her quirky and very cool art.
It seemed like a lot of people I know (including myself) were having a really bad week and Edward's expression kind of looks how we felt.  I decided to make us all feel better by adding a positive sentiment.

A New Year means a New Commitment

I admit that I hesitate to commit.

Whew!  I said it.  Out loud.  Hello bloggy friends.  I've been a bad blogger.  I promise to make an ATTEMPT to maintain my blog this year.  I promise to add posts at least once a week.  I promise to list my muses, tools, colors, papers etc... like a good blogger should.  I promise to find a way to organize the ideas in my head then make time to sit down at the craft table (AKA: family dinner table) and create the visions in my head.

Looking forward to sharing ideas and learning this year!
